If you use SendGrid Marketing Campaigns to send email, you know you need opt-in forms to capture leads from your website and grow your lists. Being marketers ourselves, we know you want widgets that look and work great, but you don’t have time to fiddle around with code when you need to launch a new campaign fast.
Digioh’s form builder is designed with marketers in mind, making it easy to create custom opt-in forms and widgets integrated with SendGrid. Here’s a video overview, where we share a quick demo of the Digioh-SendGrid widget builder. You can also read the steps below.
Digioh’s form builder makes it drag-and-drop simple to build custom subscription widgets. You can add unlimited custom fields (great for segmenting SendGrid subscribers), plus buttons, images, text, and HTML.
You can create simple opt-in forms, banners, or sidebars, or more complex widgets like preference quizzes, progressive forms, and customer surveys. Our inline widgets let you place a form (or a button) inline with your existing page content.
Want to personalize your forms? You can make any form elements dynamic. This enables you to display content personalized by page URL, UTM parameters, or even on-page content. For example, if you have differing discounts on different products, Digioh forms can pull in the discount amount and display it when a visitor is viewing a specific product page (e.g. 25% off on a plush toy, vs 30% off a wooden toy).
In this example, the subscription widget has two custom fields: a birthdate field and a product interest field (with several options to choose from, e.g. Plush Toys or Wooden Toys). The data from these fields can be passed directly to your SendGrid account.
If you want to control the display of your widgets and forms, Digioh’s conditions editor gives you a wide range of options. In this example, you’ll see a widget that displays to first-time visitors, only, so we use Digioh’s “Past Visits” conditions.
To pass custom field data from Digioh to SendGrid, you need to create matching custom fields in SendGrid (in this case, birthday date field and a product_interest text field). This data can be used to segment your subscribers, and send special birthday promotions.
Once you’ve created the SendGrid custom fields, map them to Digioh’s custom fields (with a few clicks) and your integration is ready to start passing your form data.
With the Digioh-SendGrid integration, marketers can easily drive email list growth, conversions, and sales. If you’d like to learn more, feel free to reach out with questions or request your tour of Digioh.
